HIP HOP FESTIVALS
Where: Finsbury Park, London
When: 8th-10th July
Headliners: Calvin Harris, The 1975, Chase & Status, Jess Glynne
Though not normally thought of as a key hip-hop and urban festival, Wireless is strong when it comes to artist of the genre. For its 10th birthday last year it pulled in some of the world's biggest hip-hop names, including Drake and Nicki Minaj and if the ticket sales of 2015 are anything to go by, this year is set to be huge.
Where: Victoria Park, East London
When: 15-16th July
Headliners: Jack Garratt, Major Lazer, LCD Soundsystem, Miike Snow
Since Groove Armada first created the festival, Lovebox has drawn in the best of hip-hop, RnB and Electronic artists, including Snoop Dogg, Rudimental and Cypress Hill. With vintage markets, bespoke bars, fairground rides and Sunday's Gay Day, Lovebox is one of the most flamboyant and creative festivals London has to offer.

When: 3rd-5th June
Headliners: Tame Impala, Skepta, Jungle, Groove Armada, Tiga
Running for only 5 years, Forbidden Fruit festival is a relatively new festival, however each year it is becoming more popular. Top acts such as 2015 headliners Fatboy Slim and Jamie XX and the mixture of comedy gigs, fashion stalls and great food markets make Forbidden fruits a fantastic weekend.
When: 11th-12th June
Headliners: The Chemical Brothers, Skepta, Flume
Art installations, cabaret, a fun fair and a huge variety of themed zones are only a few activities that Parklife has to offer for when you’re taking a break from watching the amazing artists in the 2016 line up. This festival certainly has something for everybody.
COCOON IN THE PARK
Where: Temple Newsam, Leeds
When: 9th July
Headliners: The Martinez Brothers, Green Velvet, Patrick Topping
Though sometimes thought of as ‘Ibiza in Yorkshire’ this one-day festival is much more. Held at Leeds' Temple Newsam- Cocoon's single stage is home to some of the best house, dance and EDM DJs including past acts Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos and Dixon. With the amazing visuals and sound systems this festival is growing every year and bound to be awesome!
SOUTH WEST FOUR
Where: Clapham Common, South West London
When: 27th-28th August
Headliners: Rudimental, The Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal
This is no ordinary London club, SW4 is an open aired party palace home to top names and the best up and coming artists in the worlds of EDM, house, techno, minimal and electronica. SW4 is all about the music with two days of back-to-back sets and over 100 artists.
When: 25th-28th August
Headliners: Eddie Halliwell, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano
Year after year Creamfields announces the world's biggest names in electronica, house, dance and EDM. Its prestigious reputation draws in names such as Annie Mac, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, this year is set to be just as big judging by the line up.
