Where: Worthy Farm, Glastonbury, Somerset

This one-of-a-kind festival is in a world of its own. Events such as circus and theatre shows, secret acts, countless food stalls and area theme activities run round the clock throughout the week at Glastonbury. It's possible to go the full week without passing the famous Pyramid stage where the likes of Beyonce, Kanye West, The Who and Florence and the Machine have played.
Where: Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight
When: 8-11th September
Headliners: The Cure, Major Lazer, Hot Chip
Flamboyance and silliness are key elements at Bestival, the place where more is more and nothing is ever too bizarre. Among the thousands of acts that have included The Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Tame Impala, there is plenty to explore such as the lit-up lakesides, mass fancy dress and late night mischief.
