LONDON COFFEE FESTIVAL | Pure Leaf Activation

Last week we hung out at London Coffee Festival activating Pure Leaf for Unilever. Exhibition organisers take note, London Coffee Festival has nailed the fusion between trade and consumer. As a show, it has great design, great programming and even greater attendance!

A cynic might say it was hipster heaven and a sea of plywood, but if you looked a bit closer what you saw was brands passionate about their products, consumers evangelical (or addicted!) about coffee and an event that genuinely celebrated the industry.

If Instant is your tipple I would stay away, but if new products and innovations turn you on, whack it in the diary for next year. Beware though, we are still shaking off the Expresso Martini induced hangover...

LFW - our favourite sets

London Fashion Week has drawn to a close and we are already missing the minute by minute Instagram updates of the latest news, trends and events!

To help ease the pain we have rummaged through the archives and dug out some of our favourite fashion week sets from around the world. Take a minute to appreciate the beauty. We can only imagine the blood, sweat and tears that went into creating some of these masterpieces…

ISPO MUNICH 2017

We have had our boots on the ground at ISPO in Munich this week. ISPO has been going forever and is where the sporting goods, athletic footwear and fashion industry presents its latest products and trends are brought to life.

A LABOUR OF LOVE.

IT DEFINITELY HAS POTENTIAL WE SAID...

After seven months of wallpaper stripping (after realising that actually, we just needed to go back to brick!) Over £100 spent on paint tester pots and a whole lot of rubbish clearing, PVA brick gluing and the fun bit - pinning til our hearts were content on Pinterest - we finally moved into our very first home last Summer!

MAISON & OBJET.

A WHIRL WIND 48 HOURS.

Major bucket list was ticked this week when I finally got to visit Maison & Object.

I’d looked longingly at this exhibition through Pinterest and Instagram for a while now.

Things to look forward to in 2017

It's safe to say that 2016 has been a shocker. It started with the sad loss of music's most-loved icon, David Bowie and ended with Donald Trump being voted into the White House.

In between we've had natural disasters, civil wars, the EU Referendum and way too many untimely deaths to mention. (Prince?!)

But never fear, this almighty stinker of a year is almost behind us, and there are a few things to look forward to....

We Love Nick Deakin

We are totally in love with Sheffield based designer Nick Deakin's playful hand-drawn illustrations.

So we were thrilled when he agreed to collaborate on our 2017 Christmas cards! The 3 awesome designs combine Nick's signature style and our new brand colours, and we couldn't be happier with them....

WEDDING INSPIRATION: MOODBOARDS

Wedding season finally is upon us! We love a good wedding, and our very own creative events producer Callum is getting hitched tomorrow to his beautiful bride-to-be Jen. It's got us all romantic and googly-eyed.

So what better time to put together a selection of moodboards inspired by our all-time favourite wedding themes! Take a look, which one gets you in the mood for a good old fashioned knees up?....

BLACK BOOK | THE PHOTOGRAPHERS' GALLERY, SOHO

The Photographer’s Gallery in Soho is the largest public photography gallery in London, hosting brilliant work from emerging talent, to historical archives and established artists. It is the perfect place to discover all forms of photography.

We were in London last month producing a Press Launch for House of Fraser and couldn't resist nipping in to check out 2016's The Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize exhibition (15 Apr – 3 Jul) which displayed the work of those shortlisted and this year’s winner Trevor Paglen...

CHELSEA IN BLOOM

Last month Chelsea in Bloom, an event that runs in tandem with the Chelsea Flower Show, took place. Stunning floral displays took over Sloane Square and the surrounding roads. More than 30 shops took part filling the streets with colour and competing to win the best design.

We had a chance to take a quick look at some of the spectacular designs and couldn’t resist sharing the wonderful displays with you all...
